History andWhat kind of animals use magnetism

Magnetism in animals was founded/studied
in 1779. Animal,magnetism flourished as a
medical and psychological specialty, and
for another fifty years it continued to be a
system of some influence.

Topic
How animals use magnetism

  • Birds use their eyes, cause it is like a compass, and their sense of smell to keep track of where they have been and where other animals are.

  • Lobsters use their eyes invariably determine the direction of their capture site and begin moving homeward. The long-debated role of the Earth's magnetic fields in animal movements and migrations.

  • Caribbean spiny lobster-has an internal magnetic compass that allows them to know which way is north, south, east, and west. Caribbean spiny lobster is known to be the top navigator in the animal kingdom

  • Sea turtles swim into waves to help them know they are headed away from a beach.

  • Bats use a magnetic substance in their body called magnetic as an 'internal compass' to help them navigate.

Personal Experience
  • My personal experience is when my friend's bird flew away and used his magnetic ability to come back home.
  • My personal experience is when I saw birds migrating to the south by using earth's magnetic field to find their way.
  • My personal experience is when I read articals and watched videos.
